Anyone thinking about fishing out of Santa Cruz on Tuesday? Looks like pretty good conditions and will probably look to launch around 7am from the harbor. Mike

Hey,

10:30 is a bit of a late start, but you should still give it a go and hopefully the wind stays down for most of the day as it has been. I will be out until early afternoon or later if all goes well and the conditions hold. If you have a radio, we all use channel 69, if you don't have one-get one and make sure you know what  you are doing and have the right equipment and skills needed to accomplish the mission and return safely. I am happy to meet you and fish together, just radio me up out there when you get out of the harbor. The north side of the harbor by Aldo's has free parking on the street and a small plastic dock that you can launch from easily and at no charge, just look for all of the kayaks in dry storage and that is where the ramp to the public dock is located. My plan is to paddle up past the lighthouse and fish the reefs out there. Mike
