I got a kayak and attended the Tiki Lagun in Stk, now after meeting some of you there and seeing how your kayaks were rigged I am in the process of rigging my OK Prowler 15 but I need help with cold weather gear. I am looking at a one piece semi dry suit or dry suit by Kokatat and NRS  http://www.rei.com/outlet/product/783494, does anyone use anything like these ? How warm are they and at what temp point do you need layered under clothing.  I also like a two piece pant and top http://www.outdoorplay.com/Mens-Kayak-Apparel-Packages but they are not totally water proof in the event of a dunk so what is the answer, do I need both, opinions and advice welcome, even your two cents worth so don't think I won't consider all advice. My money is limited so I need to do the right thing the first time so I don't waste resources.  I think I am asking advice for a complete Fall Winter Spring cool and cold weather gear to stay comfortable in all conditions.
Thanks for any and help.
Al

Ok heres my 2 cents.

Very dependant on what type pf fishing your doing IE salt fresh weater conditions.

in salt i choose 3mil wetsuit and a quality paddle jacket a size or 2 bigger and layer thermal base layer and maybe a sweater.

lakes and rivers waterproof pants and a paddle jacket same principle a  little large for layering for colder days.

Dry suits are nice but not cheap, i always advise people to get the best they can afford without sacrificing safety.
Where did he go george
