My reports will most likely be coming from the PB now but there will be yak relative info.

Got a late start, didn't get on the water till 8:30.....snooze button=my best friend.  It only took 10 mins to drop the boat and park so I guess it worked out.  Worked SW of the stacks in  +/- 170-200'.  Picked up 2 around 9 am, 12 & 18 and our rookie farmed one.  100' OTW (I was not willing to hand crank 200+ feet all day so we stayed shallow), all 3 came within 30 mins of each other on 12" chartruese/chrome hot spot with white/pink hootchie (other rod had a floro pink/chrome hotspot and didn't get touched  :smt017) Anyway, boats swarmed, bite died. Trolled till 1 o'clock for nothin else.  Talked with a half dozen other boats at the ramp only one other had any luck.  He got double on FBR behind dodger on his way back in from Mulligan.  Still quite a few trailers in the lot, don't know what the other scores were like.

Yak notes: tried a Large FISH FLASH no drag flasher on one of the rods.  My first impression, after it twisted my line to hell and tangled a downrigger, was that it sucked, won't use it on the boat with stacked riggers ever again.  During initial testing though there was noticeably less drag than a traditional dodger, it creates a ton of flash (works exactly like the prop on a buzzbait) and would probably work best on a release with baits that don't need added action.  I wouldn't hesitate to try it on a yak after swapping out the existing swivel for a higher quality ball bearing swivel or two.

edit:

I have a new appreciation for the yak in that clean up is practically non existent compared to the boat  :smt010
