Monday Monkey

Had big plans to take Pond Poacher and Sledge out, but my chosen launch spot was unavailable.

 

After half an hour more of road rage, made it to Pacific Grove to find a ton of rotting kelp covering the plan b launch and coffee water lapping on the shore.   

Luckily, the viz cleared up to about 12 feet or so out deeper.

Hunting was slow, but managed to get a 24 inch MFPB, 17.5 inch Cabbie and two pan frying kelpies.

 

Also got an unexpected beer bong through my snorkel from Sledge while I was floating next to his yak!

 

Aaron was having fun exploring around, and Mike was up to his usual shenanigans.

SLEDGEND!!!!!!

 

Met back at my house after to eat half the MFPB sashimi style, washed down with some cold brew!

I alway enjoy watching your vids but watching them to Primus couldn't have made my day any better.  Thanks for sharing your day.  Looked like you guys had fun.  I'm going to see Primus in S.B. in a few days and I'll get you a shirt!!

Sledge hooked and lined out front for a bit but had no love.

Aaron explored and worked on getting more comfy in the water, but don't think he even loaded his gun....

I think they were just more interested in getting out on and in the water, while I wanted to get in the water...and shoot stuff.

after relocating to Otter cove??? we told BigJ to go charge it and he did...freaking seal

had a Great time OTW...did some self rescues and plodded through the kelp at one point had drive out with peddles sticking through the hull one clump of Kelp brought me to a dead stop...had PondPoacher get behind me to reinact Ft Ross...and having rudder in and drive in...we must have spent over an hour going no where...

That dude can Party!!!  We had a grip of plans to fish/golf/and??? Trace had to work but when she rolled in from work...we pretty much just Partied and BS'ed a lot...  Went down and checked the surfing Double over heads going off...   Goodtimes...  I still thing your a freak of nature BigJ!!!

Daniel we got an A Hull party going off today...FM1 is poke poling some monkeyFace to BBQ as we speak @ Moss Landing said there were a lot of boats there must be a WSB bite going off...sctrace is showing up in a bit... We are doing a Warm-up party for the House warming party!!!  This place is awesome Has this huge redwood going right through their deck...double decks...acre of land...like a park...river running off the back of the house...going to do a hookup thread for this...  Joe's showing up after work...
