Just when I thought I had the newest, coolest toy... :smt013 :smt013 :smt013

Here is what I'm excited about though.  Hook a fish, press Record on your remote, record the epic struggle between man and sea beast.

Lol...I just came to post this. Nice to know most of us just paid the same price for a regular old GoPro, huh?

the remote would be a good idea if it does not cost as much as the Go-Pro and if it works well.  It can be a pain to push the record button and then try and see if it is indeed recording, then ending up with recordings of a nose full of hairs right at the camera when you play back later  (I usually use the chest mount).  I still have not found a way that I am happy with to mount the Go-Pro on my yak.
Fishing is cheaper than therapy!

Here is a sweet video they have with the new Hero, the slowmotion aspect is really cool.

I love GoPro, and use mine daily, but a here's my take on the new setup:

Cons:
1.  The 120FPS is only at WVGA resolution (848x480) which is not HD.  Unless you have a specific slow motion shot setup, you are probably not going to use this resolution or frame rate much.

2. The Wi-Fi remote is great for those who have WiFi where they are fishing.  I guess you can carry a 12V Wireless router on the yak, but it doesn't seem too practical.

Pros:
1. The new lens is very cool and fixes many of the underwater issues experienced with the v1 HD system.
2. The 11MP still setting is much improved for time lapse photos.

I'm stoked to see the new version released, I now hope to pick up a couple of additional 960s for sub $50.  I won't be buying v2 anytime soon.
