I'm a Necky fanboy, so I am compelled to promote their latest SOT kayak.

Vector 13™

Necky's first sit-on-top kayak in nearly a decade, the Vector blends all the comfort and stability synonymous with sit-on-top kayaks with the great efficiency and performance of a touring kayak.

I've seen them at the local dealers and they look nice.  Necky is a sister company of Ocean Kayak.  Both are owned Johnson Outdoors.

Wait till you see the Vector 14. They created a scupper plug that lets water out but does not let water back in, so they were able to lower the CG and narrow up the kayak without messing with stability. I just got my demo in yesterday and will be taking it out tonight. Super stoked!

So I went a got the Vector 13 last week and am looking forward to pimping it out. I just placed an order with Hook 1. As soon as I start working on it I will upload some pics.

You're going to love the 14.  Speedy thing.  The new scupper plug is a venturi style drain.

The 14 looks like it would be fast. I thought that the 13 was faster then my last kayak.

Looks nice!
Without knowing anything about them, from the looks on the picture, it looks like the hatch opening looks small.  Sometimes, I like to be able to stow my fat Wheeleez in the yak.

Hope to see one OTW soon.

The hatch is small and will not fit the large wheels. I have yet to try the smaller ones.

was there anymore feedback for the vector 14?
im trying to decide between the 13 or 14, i dont know how much faster the 14 will be but its £200 more expensive when it comes out here in 2 months time and i dont know if its worth it.
