After the open mic show at Tommy T's in Pleasanton, I was approached by this guy, Mordecai Monroe, an actor and comedian, and wanted to get his picture taken with me.  Pretty cool guy, and well respected comedian and actor. His movies include-I have no idea, but it sounded good! Anyhow, very quiet night there last night, maybe about 20 people.  Would like to pack the place next Monday, I will be playing guitar and doing some songs. Not quite the ones I was singing at Albion, but funny none the less! And, you may become the recipient of an ice cold beverage!

That's a good report, Rich.  I like the way you're living.   :smt001

Thanks Eric, shoot me a pm with some local taverns or comedy clubs up your way, and I will see about getting a show booked up that way too, and make it a fish/tax deduction trip!

Rich,
When are you gonna be in Pleasanton again?   I'm thinking this could be Loose Screws activity!

Well, for as much of a beer fiend as I am I don't do taverns!   :smt005  I'm pretty sure we don't have any comedy clubs in Humboldt, but I could be wrong.  If you do look into it and find a spot to take your act I'd love to come check it out.

Martin, I plan on being there Monday night for the open mic again, I have some more new songs to try out in front of the crowd. Tomorrow night I will be at Pepper Belly's in Fairfield off of W. Texas. Never been to that club before, so not sure what to expect. I do know that the Pleasanton Monday night venue is competing with Monday night football, so the turn out has been real low, would be nice to pack that place full of NCKA folks and show them what a party is all about!
