Well, if you catch fish every time you try, they would call it catching, thats why its called fishing...
Freddiie landed a nice keeper striper, and a few folks got some shaker stripers, but no monsters to report.
It was really cool to see a great turn out, however, lots of good positive 'yakers. Even the dfg were in a somewhat happy place. Giving warnings for not having a bay-stamp for one of us. Thanx to all!  Damn I wish I had a hot tub- Im beat! -Ben

Yup-

It was great to get out there with the crew. It was nice to fish with JD, Ryan and Chris again. I haven't fished with either of you guys in a long time. Too bad we couldn't hook up into a monster. But, we tried. Out of the 9 of us out there... I was sure that somebody would hook up. I got a nice striper for the steamer though. I guess that's good enough. Speaking of good enough... Tim was the real winner of the day. DFG must've been feeling real good yesterday. Instead of a ticket, Tim got a tough lashing and that was that. Oh well, hopefully the bite will stay on for a little while longer.

Great fishing with all you guys also.   Boat Launch under the bridge and if you bring a hose,  they have a fresh water wash down. I haven't given up on sturgeon yet, and the warmer weather sure makes it easier.
