Can you launch a yak at Don Pedro?  Just asking...hmm Bass Pro shop Manteca, hit Don Pedro, then do some high-country backpacking and fishing in Yosemite...sounds like a rough weekend :smt044

Absolutely!  Just have to watch out for the lake lice but since the summer is winding down, they shouldn't be as much of an issue.

Nice trip I hate fishing bass from my kayak.  Maybe I need to get a hobie pro angler might be more fun.   Bass has been my main target  20+ years.

If you were asking me.  I fish Isabella, Castaic, Pyramid, Pine Flat, and central coast lakes a lot. I have a soft plastic crawdad I sculpted that kills big bass on Pedro.  Go like once every other year because its so far.  Probably my favorite lake though when I'm there.  Andy
