I ordered the one that hook1 has that said it'll work for hummingbird ff on the description.(no.272). When I received it and try installed it, the thing didn't fit! I looked at the Scotty box and it only says for lowrance, eagle and most garmin.

Went on Scotty site and it shows only a hummingbird piranha sounder base. Not sure if that will fit since there's no description.  So does anyone know which Scotty mount that will fit a hummingbird 788ci?

Thanks
Phong

Phong, I have a Hummingbird 385ci but had the same problem finding a mount.  So I made my own:

You're welcome.  That will definately work.  You could also go to a store such as Tap Plastics and get a piece of plastic cut to the size you needed.  I considered doing that, but since I had the extra mount that's what I came up with.  You would think Scotty would make a mount for the range of Hummingbirds.  Have fun-

My Scotty 272 fishfinder mount plate did not fit my Humminbird 383c mount either. The holes were just a bit off. WTF?! :smt013 I ended up going to Tap Plastics and had them cut out a 3" x 4.5" piece of 0.5" marine grade HDPE called Seaboard in black for about $3. I then drilled the bolt pattern for both onto the Seaboard, and bolted everything together.
