Went and got a tarpon 120 today.
Took it out on the sac river and loves it way better than my fs10 now I  got to pimp it any suggestions. I'm planning on rod holders in the tracks insted of flush mount.

Congratulations on the Tarpon.  I've got the T140 and am really happy with it.  It would never fall under the category as nimble and it's a heavy pig, but it is stable as hell (although I have flopped it twice in the rapids on the American.)  Your 120 is probably much better for that.

The slide trax is great for mounting stuff without drilling holes.  The bad part is that the matching components are expensive.  Just remember you can make your own mounting plates by using starboard or cutting board material and toilet bowl studs for the sliding rail bolts.

Good luck with the new ride.

That should be a great ride for the river.  Congratulations!  If the river is the place you'll be using it most then go along on one of the hook ups and see what others are doing.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.
