I am thinking of launching form one of the beaches just north of Bodega (probably right around Carmet) for a try at some pink meat.  If the swell/surf make the launch look iffy, I will probably head to Doran and paddle out past the island.

anyone else game?

So sorry jacking this thread a little bit, but I can't figure out how to post my own.  The party boats and skiffs were concentrated at Linda Mar today.  Looks like they were mooching. They were definitly after salmon.  I did not have time to put binocs on them, to see how well they were doing.  However, the sheer number of boats indicates some kind of action.  BTW, didn't see one kayaker out there, though the conditions were exellent.  Even the late afternoon/evening was doable. I can't make, it but someone should.
