Anybody else get mail from the North American Fishing Club...the have a magazine, and test products, and free stuff...but they send a lot of junk.  Just curious if anyone else has tried any of their deals.  Is it worth becoming a member, or is it a scam?

Thanks.

Bryan,  I have received their mailings too but haven't tried it.  It looks like one of those "if it seems to be too good to be true................". Maybe I'm just too skeptical?

I was a paid member for several years and I had signed up for the field test thing too. Bottom line is the magazine is soso field test is totally bogus the sent me a jig to try out that looked like it was made by a 3 year old on crack, I did my review of it and never got sent anything else to try out. Most of the articles and such pertain to things back east so really other than entertainment value no real useable info there. So I was a paid member for 5 years or so and cancelled maybe 2 years ago and now I only get an obscene amount of junkmail from them.

I remember them sending me stickers which were cool.  I never joined but those stickers on my lifted :smt005 4x4 next to the "bad boy club" ones got me noticed by the hotties.  Jk! :smt044 They were cool stickers though. :smt006  Everyone wants to be in a cool club.  They were geniuses.

I was a member for a few years, then they sent me the option to become a life member for another $100 or so w/ a nice rain suit.  This was before wife/kids when I actually had disposable income, so I went for it.  I still get the magazine, mostly bass/walleye/panfish/catfish related but it does have some good info.  In the 15 years or so I've been in I think I've received some fish batter, a few jigs...that's about it for the field testing stuff.  It's not too bad, but for us west coast guys there isn't much to get excited about.

It's a great business idea, they get you to join, you spend 30 bucks, they send you ten bucks worth of stuff......
They get enough members across the country and they make a bundle!

Sweet stickers though. Everyone loves stickers.....

Maybe I I'll start selling cool stickers....
