Braid with top shot to help hide that leader  :smt002  My first ocean spinning rod is a trevala MH 6'6 with a SaltStriker Cabelas reel.  Cant believe it's lasted 4 years without needing to be re-spooled.  Just keep trimming off some if it looks discolored or frayed, and add another top shot!
