OK been debating lately I've been meaning to introduce friends of mine in Kayak fishing, being beginner I am afraid to take them to Ocean without any safety class etc, I am thinking if bought a tandem I can definitely show them how, I have another friend that kayaked before and attended some seminars on safety, wanted just by himself.. what would you recommend?

Darius, don't get a tandem. just buy a second yak. You already know you can sell it later.

If you can provide a safety speach in a tandem then you can provide a safety speach to another solo paddler.  Stick close to them while otw and they should be fine.

my hobie oasis mirage tandem is killer.  you've seen the pictures and all the doubles.  its fantastic and very fast.  It goes 4.5 mph easy and can reach 7.5mph.  fishing tandem is excellent.  i can hover over anything and keep newbies on fish.  its killer, for the fish.
