Launched @ 8:30 am this morning and got into a huge ball of Sardines straight out in 22ft of water. Hook a nice size mackerel too and dropped him down while I finished making bait. Not 5 minutes later I get something big on. Thought it might be a striper at first. One big run and a little slay ride I gained some line and saw I had a nice size thresher shark. He made a few more runs and ended up snapping my leader. Damn!
I decided to work the kelp line with my dine's out towards sponge bob. Nothing on way out. On way back in I C&R a underling. Decided to keep working the kelp and scored another ling 26", a fat green grass cod and a pig of a Brown RF 19". Not a bad day for these parts. Still looking for a nice Butt.

That's a nice catch.  I know what you mean about the Thresher's I've had one hit my Salmon mooching rig only to bite off the leader at boat-side.

Nice catch.  Glad to see you caught some fish after I went in.  I was in the Camo Trident 13.  The day was slow for me with only 2 small rock fish.
Hope to see you out there again.
