Is this a decent price for a 2 year old Scupper Pro TW?  I want to offer 300.00 then I'll meet him a 400.00 hopefully.  I want to test paddle one first though...

It depends on the condition.  They have a devout following, small, light, fast, but narrow and a bit tippy for the rookie.  Tankwell is small by modern standards.

I agree with Scwafish - I did  test paddle this kayak on the calm waters of the Bay and I thought it was tippy......AND I could not fit my fat ass on the sunken bucket seat :smt011 - IMO: definitely not ideal for bigger guys :smt018
