Tagged RF - Did I win a price?

I caught a tagged Gopher last Saturday in the Carmel area.  Tag says contact DFG.  After I do what happens?

Anybody had this experience before?

I've caught/speared several tagged fish and turned in all the tags along with pics, length, and location caught.

Call the number on the tag and they will probably direct you to Scot Lucas or Diane Haas and ask you if you want a hat or a t-shirt...take the t-shirt!

Last time I saw this was a tagged lingcod around the butterfly house in carmel. Tag said "cash reward" but when Aaron called it in he was told the funding for the reward program was gone.

If you can get a shirt consider it a good deal
