Hey everybody, got to visit Lake Almanor and do a little Kayak fishing.  I got this 18 inch Eagle Lake Trout about 200-300 yards off the Canyondam about 50 feet down.  I was using the biggest live night crawler that I had and drifting by the white buoy,  it only took about 30min before I hooked up.  Also caught a Bass closer to the Dam but it was to small to keep.  There were a few boats in that area so I think its a pretty productive spot.  The lake is so big you really have to know which spot you want to invest time in.  Hope this helps!

Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.
