went to lovers point and launched at the beach where some fellow ncka people launched. water was decent but not too clear. i found it much more fun to hunt looking from inside the kelp outwards on this day and found big kelp stalks with many black rockfish on them pretending they were kelp fronds.

i was hunting out deeper but moved back closer to shore into about 12-15 feet of water because the fish were more plentiful inside the kelp. i dont do it much anymore but on this day hunting from the dark looking out towards the light made for some good video and this area also had large schools of big opaleye to look at.

i saw a small ling, and a tiny cabezon as well.

i took the gopro camera off the gun and made some video of the black RF. it was weird as they didnt even get skittish when i dropped the gun to do some video work.

i am still learning to upload videos and need to make a youtube account i think.

I'm not too sure about the absolute intelligence of fish, but they KNOW when you're not armed,

dropped gun = time to relax......
