I just wanted to give a head's up for Pursuit Diving's Wetsuits out of Florida. I had been looking for a while for a 7mm top to go with my hammerhead bottom but was having big problems getting dealers to sell just a top. I am 5'9 and 167 lbs and the man i spoke to (forgot his name) sent me a medium suit. He split a set to do me a favor and when i tried it on today the fit is perfect. I was sent a medium and he said if needed he would swap for a large but this works just fine. I got the camo green color top.

i came upon the company after reading a review by Fuzz here:

http://www.freedivingspearfishing.com/forum/california/1852-pursuit-7mm-wetsuit-vs-freezing-water.html

i paid 180 something shipped priority, only took 2 days to get this here!

cant wait to go out in it.

Thanks for posting that up, the Fuzz endorsement is all i need.  One day I'll upgrade to a nice freedive suit, I'll definitely keep this in mind.

On another note, this is the first time I've seen an acutal picture of Fuzz's face, I'm pretty sure I saw you at PIF and didnt say hello, my bad dude, I feel like a jerk.  I'm sure I'll see you around sometime!

Back the bus up.  I know Fuzz cares about this community and he would have posted that review here or recommended that suit here if he felt like we would benefit.

That website with Fuzz's review is owned by the guy that sells those wetsuits.  So if you're interested in a product that you think Fuzz endorses, better to PM him to get the low down.

sounds fair to me. this is my 4th open cell suit and i'll give it a whirl at stillwater south this saturday early morning. i have to be back by noon but i have the morning to do some spearing and videos. i usually get pretty cold over there so i hope it will keep me warm.

If a suit fits well, then chances are it will keep you warm.  My comments were more directed at Shellback's statement that Fuzz's endorsement was all he needed.

Interesting comments about comparing it to a Picasso, a few years ago I finally upgraded from a 2 piece, N2 suit to a Picasso Camo 7MM. Thought I'd died and gone to heaven, next time I need a suit though I'll probably try something else and this sounds like a great place to look.

Thanks for putting the info out there.

I have the new Green Camo 7mm. http://freedivingspearfishinggear.com/88-wetsuit-blue-camo.html
I want to warn others about the sizing of these suits. I'm 5'10" and 175lb. I normal wear a Picasso Black 5mm Medium. That fits me well, but a bit on the tight side. I wanted to try something a bit bigger, so I ordered a Pursuit Green Camo 7mm in Large. That 7mm Large was so tight that I could not take off the top by myself. Fortunately, Dan was pretty cool about swapping the suite for an XL. I now have an XL. Everything fit well except for a tiny bit of a gap around my forearms. Since I wanted something a little less tight, I'm happy with the XL. The quality is very good. More sturdy than my Picasso for sure. The Picasso has softer foam, but much easier to tear. If you see a suit you like, call Dan to make sure it is in stock or find out when it would be. Availability is a big issue with them. I waited one month to get my Large, then waited another month to swap for the XL.

I'm meeting hotplate at sws at 6am (we both gotta be home before noon)...if the parking is jacked up will go to plan b...maybe drive up the road and jump in at lone cypress?

Shoot me a text geoff and I will let you know what the scene is like at sws....looks to me like the tournament is not right at the main links, but over at the Peter Hay Golf links..
