For now I'm borrowing a kayak while I'm trying to find the right one for me.  I was wondering which kayak is easiest for stowing rods in the hull while you are in the boat.  I'm trying to minimize lost tackle like I'm sure most of you are.  How are the Malibu Stealths an the fish n dives?  Thanks

Limited experience; can't speak to those boats - however; the Ocean Kayak Yrident or Prowler will swallow your rods and tackle.  Check them out.

Thanks Kenny and Mooch, I'll take a look at those.  I think my buddy that I fish with is looking at those.

No problem - took my OK T13 for its (and my) maiden voyage yesterday.  My yak has a rudder so once my brain was able to disconnect my feet from my hands I was zipping right along.  Diggin it.

I went on a kayaking excursion in Alaska this year and the kayak had a rudder.  I was stubborn at first and didn't use it but finally figured out it would be easier to use the rudder than fighting my 14yo daughter just paddling away.
