J-H-O, it might help if you post a location as there are good lakes all over Nor-Cal.
Call your local tackle shop for local info., ( and support them )
Tight Lines, Tim
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

If by lake trout you mean mackinaw, there aren't many lakes where you're going to find both species..  Tahoe is one and I believe there are some smaller lakes around Tahoe also, but I don't know their names.

ATD is gonna be your man!  I'm sure he'll set you up.

Its gonna be tough this weekend anywhere you go for kokes, cause of the hoilday weekend, and all the Pb's! My best bet for you would be Lake Pardee, where theres NO Skiers, or Stampede.! Stampede water is still verry cold and has both big macks and kokes! Goodluck outthere and let us kno how you do...Ill be at Pardee with 2 buddies on Sunday!..channel 69..give me a shout out if you go! ric!

New Melones is still good.  My friend keeps getting limits everytime he goes out on his boat.

UVR is one of my favorites , usually do well on the kokes in the am and pick up lake trout when I get into water that puts my RGT's close to the bottom . Only problem is as it warms up the Fleas and water skiers invade and are a nuisance !
