Used my FF, Humminbird 570, for one season and it worked great. Yak sat for 8 months and then I used it at the ARW event. FF would only read 5 ft. depth and no fish. The FF display sweeps and the controls seem to work.
I though that maybe the transducer had gapped from the hull. I pulled it, cleaned off the hull and transducer. Using a clear silicon adhesive I reattached it. Tried it at PIF. This time the display would only say 2 ft.
Humminbird just says send it in for service
Don't want to have to buy a new one for Albion
Have you had this happen on your FF?
Any advice on what might be wrong and how to fix it?

Thanks

Kirk

I had this problem on CUDA later on found out it was just loose connection on the cables, pressed is harder and used the electronic grease works fine...
