After work Folsom Tuesday June 21st

Just cruise down green valley Rd to the dam rd to Auburn Folsom, and then up to RB Rd. It's not that far. Well, maybe it is.

I'm out Might end up at Rollins on shore for an hour, no time to get yak in water

It seems that you take Rattlesnake Road off of Auburn-Folsom Road to get to Rattlesnake Bar but you take Rattlesnake Bar Road off of Hwy 49 to get to the Peninsula Campground at Folsom.
I always thought Rattlesnake Bar Road went to Rattlesnake Bar...what was I thinking??!!??

I had the same mistaken thought when I left to meet Adam at Rattlesnake Bar last week.  what a difference there is between Rattlesnake Bar Road and Rattlesnake Bar Rec Area there is!!  I finally found Adams car almost 2 hours after leaving the house (in Rancho, ON 50!!!), left a note as it was already after closing time and made dust.

later this week I'll be there tho.  The rec area is only 9.5 miles from oldtown Auburn, straight down auburn-folsom road and a mere 25 min from home for me, now that I know where I'm going....
