Hey just thought id see what would get more ppl behind it. Ive scuba dived at pacific grove never fished so would like an experienced company :) Had fun at SWS on sat caught my first keeper cabezon 21 in! (after more accurate measuring) :smt003 didn't catch anything else but would like to explore it more. Weather seems nice and i know some ppl weren't able to go sat. Thinking of meeting there at 6 or 630.

Wes

Congrats on the cabezon!  Where did you guys end up fishing?  Golfish and I kept looking for you but you never came around the corner.  At least you got a nice fish!

Michael

Thanks! I got the cabezon inside the cove where we fished most of the day :). I forgot my VHF at home and didn't see where you guys went >_< so we stayed near familiar grounds for dropnlax. It was my first time out to SWS and I didnt know all the spots to fish. How did you end up doing around the corner?

Wes

Sorry about that, thought you knew to follow us around the corner, it isn't that far.  We did pretty well, you can check out the report in the members only section.  Did you guys catch anything else besides the cabezon?  Enquiring minds would like to know ;).

Michael

Dropnlax caught a small brown and I had a small olive unhook at the surface. but it was still a good trip especially with the Cab! Next time Ill head north out of the cove.

Hello Chumchum, sorry for the late reply bro.  Me and my buddies were there but we were otw for only a couple of hours if that and had to retreat because my buddies turned green from the swells :smt044 (new to the game so I had to watch them).  Wasn't a bad day though, they caught a few Gophers, and some Boccacio.  Bagged the daily limit and left.  Sorry I didn't stop by to meet ya, I was worried for my recruits as this was their first ever out in the ocean kayak fishing trip.  This was my first trip to SWS and  I like the layout of the place with a little cove to hide behind from the winds... and the kelp beds... holy... more like ocean of kelp than ocean of ocean  :smt044 :smt044 :smt044.  I don't have pics since the rest of the family was at the boardwalk and they hogged it the whole weekend  :smt012 oh well.  I hope to see you at the RB rally if you can make it.  Regards.

I don't intend on winning any tourney's, I intend on fishing with the brother's OTW and having a good time while at it... NCKA!
