I like just having one pocket.  I only keep waterproof tape in there, and that's also where my trash goes while otw, (line and empty baggies).  Radio and knife are clipped to it. 

If you get separated nothing in your pockets will do much good, apart from a radio.

Call me paranoid but "inflatable" means de-flating is also possible.

I like the Kokotat CO2.  Also the $4 for a recharge.  My West Marine Auto inflate is about $40 to recharge.  The only thing I see bad on the Kokotat is the easy of getting the pull tab caught and accidentily inflating.  last inflate in the WM I wear in my boat, was accidentily catching the ripcord.  Maybe a Velcro easy pull tab over the handle.

i know kokatat makes top quality gear. If I was gonna have an inflatable vest, it would be a kokatat. My issue with inflatables is there are more things to go wrong and fail. Furthermore, I am usually looking to stay warm on the water. My life vest is a key component to keeping my torso warm.
