So i wake up this morning, at 530, look out and everything is covered in snow!  Im up in Clearlake, but this is the first snow at this level.  I think im about 1400 ft or so.  So im out, got the camera and go to the lake.. Figure noone will be down there..   The whole parking lot is filled with trucks and trailers!  I couldnt believe it..   So I look out and they are just starting a pro bass tourney!   Everyone looked a little pissed about the weather!.. :smt010

I took the new Prowler out for a test spin. I loaded it down with shrimp pots and headed out in the snow. It was kinda weird trying out a new kayak with all the pots on the back, but it was plenty stable. The prowler holds pots really well. A lot better than I was expecting.

I got this kayak in green so I could hide it in the woods. My last one was white and there's been many times (mostly hunting) when I wanted to hide it in the woods. In the past, I'd be way out there with the kayak in the woods and me all camo and hiding, and boats would cruise by and pull up to see what the big white thing in the woods is. That happened so many times I had to get a green kayak.

Anyways here's a couple of recent pics. Its actually kinda rare to snow so heavy, and it was a blast to be out there in it. It wasn't melting when it hit the water either, so we were paddling through a sort of sea/snow mush. Landed several hundred nice prawns the next day.
