Why Do I paddle a kayak instead of a float tube or a pontoon boat? I like seeing where I'm going not where I've been!
Paddle safe and wrap'em tight.

Thanks Rickey.  :D

Everyone should run out and buy a copy. Then write letters to the editor asking for more kayak fishing coverage. Especially touring (sit-inside) kayakers who are looking for a basic introduction to fishing. Salty dawgs won't find much new in there, except for one important point. If you have to rescue someone who goes overboard, make sure they've recovered before you return your attention to fishing.

I write for several publications. Many of my other kayak fishing stories are available online.

You have a nice writing style, Paul.  And your appreciation of the sport from "within" shows in how you describe things.  Good job.
