FUBAR!

Still out of commission. I only have 5 pins in my wrist at this time. It just sucks that 3 of them are poking thru the skin. One more surgery to remove the pins an then it's on to rehab.

I should have called in sick instead of going to work that day...

pins that stick through the skin are the worst, especially when the flesh rots away from the pin head. Hope you're left handed bud, good luck with the rehab!

The Doc says pins poking thru the skin is common and comes with a little discomfort. What he meant was, three metal rods sticking out of your wrist is gonna hurt like HELL!........thank God and Kaiser for the DRUGS.

I broke a bone in my thumb into 3 pieces a few years ago.  They inserted a pin through the tip of my thumb into all three bones.  The pain should subside in a week or so.
