Please tell me if there is already a thread on this topic! I just got a 12' SOT scrambler and its set up for 2 poles; thinking about 1 rock cod set up and 1 salmon set up.  I am looking for any:
rules I should know (other than the ones in the ca dept fish) such as gear, launching, etc
good put in spots (between san francisco and capitola....capitola, santa cruz, half moon bay, the bay, etc)
anything else I am not thinking about!

Hope to see you out, if anyone is going out (weekdays are good too) please tell me! Wouldnt mind joining/getting some first time advice!

Thanks for the help, great forum!

I may head out this Thurs/Fri for some shark/ray hunting in the Redwood City Harbor. I need to warm up for RF season. May also do SC for Salmon (wx dependant). Also not sure if they are within yak range
