There's a new IPhone App from Austin Kayak called Launch Point.  It cost $1.99.  I bought it this morning and it appears to be a pretty useful app for guys like me who really don't know too many of the available launch points around the bay.  It uses the IPhone's GPS location and will sort launch points by distance or they can be searched by city name or zip code.   Probably not much value for anyone who really knows all the locations, but for $1.99 I think it will be useful for me.

I'd love to see an app that when you catch a fish and snap a pic it logs the day/time, (for salt/bay cathes) tide (based on GPS), moon phase, weather (again based on GPS), location and you could enter species, size and what you got it on.

would be cool to have all that data att he end of a season to see if you have a trend.

Anyone a developer out there?
