I just got my Cabelas "Marine" catalog....and long and behold, on page 123,  there's a picture of Jim Sammons and his famous marlin picture - as an Ocean Kayak Ad. It seems like kayak fishing is making waves  :smt045

ohhh....and they're throwing in a Humminbird Smart Cast to go with the purchase of an angler edition kayak  = WOW   :smt120 :smt015 (how about throwing a decent paddle instead)

With the subject of kayak fishing becoming more and more popular these days, I do hope that we never fall into a "group" that needs to register our kayaks every year :smt011 I don't know about you guys...but I'm seriously tried of paying FEES  :smt013 (call me cheap but that crap adds up)
