Had to change my post after Tad's post. :smt003
6 or 7 works for me. If Phil's doesn't open on time you can get chovies @ Fishin Hole.

Ok, lets give Tad a break and go for 7:00  :smt003.  I have to drive up from Red Bluff anyways, so 7:00 will work better for me as well.

Good to know on the anchovies.  I actually ran down to the shop for gas, beer and anchovies.  It was mainly for beer......so I am set!  I already loaded my gear and am ready to hit the road.

Jeff I have the kayak, seat and paddle.  Does your son need any gear.  I can toss in a pfd.  I have a tackle box for the rear as it has rod holders on it for trolling.  If I can find my other rod holder, I will rivet it on tonight.  A forward rod holder makes it a lot easier.

Tim i will bring your fish knocker and some lures.

I need to make a plan of attack over a few beers.... :smt044

See you all in the morning!

Matt

Glad we are doing this now, I have been 2 hours looking for gear.
Matt, the PFD and the tackle box if not to much work would be great. Thank you so much!!!!!
7:00 am works for me, see everyone at Phil's
Thanks,
Jeff

I just mounted a rod holder on the front rail of the Frenzy.  I did a neat thing and riveted some pad eyes on my plastic plano boxes.  It makes it much easier to clip them to my securement rope in the kayak.  I am excited.  I better bring some sun screen, I got a little burned today!

No problem Jeff.  Got to feed the bug!  I have an extra rash guard/paddle shirt for him too.  I got it on sale and it is WAY too small for me, I never could wear the thing.  He is young and skinny enough, it should fit him perfect.  I have a med/large neoprene vest that should fit him as well.

See you all in the AM!

Matt

You guys talking Saturday or Sunday? I am heading over to one of my son's track meet on Saturday at the Hornet Invite. We are hoping to get out somewhere on Sunday. The weather is too good to do anything less :smt001

Not sure... was thinking Shasta. Easy for now. Might head up to Baum... but was thinking that would be really cold, maybe too much snow?. We have not been out since crabbing back in Jan. and we are going crazy to get out on the water.
