Hey, what kinda polespear you using bro?  Unless it's a sea hornet or one of them cheapies, your at an advantage.  Specially if you know how to use a polespear, you'll outfish most guys.  I like the manny puigs or christ spears in the 8'6 range.  Killer spears.

Yo Fuzz, I'd put my money on you after living out here on the rock for a year.  I've had to totally relearn how to spearfish and now I can truly understand why the rockfish stand no chance against Hawaiian spearos. 

So anyhoo, when you guys coming up with a date??   I'm coming back to Oakland for a Bar remodel job at or around end of April.  Would really like to attend this if possible.  Not sure for sure of the dates as of yet.  Just saying, set a date, maybe I can fly over.

Yup, we discussed a species meet... with no more than 1 per species allowed... with minimum sizes. 

Don't worry, we don't want a perch/kelpie slayfest either...   

Why not hold it in Santa Cruz?  That would be a competition, spearfishing in the land of no fish 

If santa cruz, why not half moon bay (i'm not diving this one, now I can say "been there, done that") LOLOLOL
