Tim was the founder of Ocean Kayak.  Currently he runs his own "design and manufacturing house" for kayak crafts.

Looks like he is doing a limited run of these legendary boats.

He also has the Coyote 14

Tim also designed the Diablo Paddlesports kayak ...http://www.diablopaddlesports.com/

And the KC Kayaks one ... http://www.kckayaks.com/

Very nice Terry is going to be pumped.

That  Coyote 14 looks pretty sweet also. Because of obvious reasons I really dislike the molded footholds. Does anyone really find them necessary? Beautiful work/ designs on them all though.

BTW, That Coyote 14 is just a Scupper Pro.  Apparently Tim retained the rights to it.

What kind of people do this?  Reminds of Mavericks but worst, getting bashed around rocks inside big waves?

I'm pro courage, but I must say... that doesn't look like fun by my definition. Looks like they rely on luck as much as skill, which is not the ratio I look for. Perhaps this was their wipeout moments, and they show more mastery most times.
Always willing to join others in the Monterey/Santa Cruz/Half Moon Bay area for a bit of fishing...feel free to contact me.

I am no big fan of molded in footwells, but you have to go to the Yakima footpegs in order to get decent adjustables.

And I swear that the Coyote 14 looks more like a Scupper vice Scupper Pro. At least the deck does.

For $2k, the X-15's would be a bargoon, if the materials is as rugged as the fiberglass was on the originals.
