I don't see any information on what the prize is for biggest fish? 
Sounds like a fun paddle in the summer though since my idea of paddling fast in a kayak only involves getting to the fishing hole the quickest then relax and catch some fish.

The 15 miles race sounds fun... if I can hunt up a racing kayak to train and compete with I'm in.
