I finally did it...I made the decision to buy a new Hobie Outback, blue  :smt003.  I have a semi-used pair of fins I plan on using for the new boat.

So, that means the new ones are up for grabs.  I'll be picking up the new yak on Saturday, so I'll be in that area then.

The 2011 have some nice features like padding on the peddle and a small bungie that keeps the peddles in the right position.

Retail looks like $450 to $490 before tax and shipping, so lets say an even $400, obo.  PM me if you are interested.

All the action went to the other thread...my creative muse has left me for this post.

What do I have to do to sell the 'so-new-I-don't-even-have-it-yet' Hobie Mirage Drive, v2??

Is the price too high?  I guess I could sell my semi-used one for cheaper.

Option A:  New 2011 MD, v2: $390.  Has the fancy peddle with padding and stay-in-place bungie cord for easy foot entry.

Option B:  Used 2010 MD, v2: $345.  A few scrapes, used less than 3 months.  Never in salt water.

Other than Craigslist, what other sites might have a Hobie owners who might want to buy the peddles?

Thanks

HB, If you put it on Ebay it probably would sell quick. Maybe one of our NCKA members is a Ebay seller? jim

I am surprised no one from the Hobie site did not snap it up!
