I'm planning to move the battery from the front of the yak to the back of my Tarpon 16.  It will sit just about a foot from the FF Transducer.  My question is, will there be some kine of interference that will cause by the battery been so close to the transducer? Any feedback or help will be greatly appreciated.

Freddie,

No problems in the past 2 years. Inside my Revo, the battery and transducer are within a foot apart.  I have a CUDA 350 GPS combo.   I use a 12V battery stored inside a waterproof case.  Been working great.
