Duane, the ranger at McNears told me that if you launch & land from the very south end of the parking lot there at McNears the water comes up a lot closer to the beach even at low tide. You will still mud bog but not as bad. This was after I got really stuck trying to come in North of the pier on a minus tide. The mud there is deeper than at CC. Hope you guys score and like Gabe says "Get them and Get Them Big!" jim
