Last minute hookup Port of Sac 1.23.11

Gonna' hit the Port of Sac in the morning for a little Striper/Crappie action.  I'll probably make it out there some time around 8 am, it just depends what bait shops are open that have medium minnows in stock.

Went out there this am. got there at 9a
Got a 12.25 crappie after about an hour.
then the Birds started busting bait.
trolled up 2 18-19" stripes and kept one for a fry.
missed about another 4 good hits on the trolled jumbo, could have used a stinger today!
had to leave by 12noon, was wishing for a 30" big boy...
I'll post a report when I get back to my own computer

BTW Penny has a S-load of mediums as of this am.

I think I'll hit it for a couple hours - can't get there before noon tho- I was hoping Novo could fish tomorrow and bring the scrambler for Hayden... oh well maybe next time...
