I took advantage of being in Houston and only a few miles from the local Bass Pro Shop so I stocked up for Jed's order of RF lures. Hope they knock 'em dead for ya Jedmo!

Here are the fixin's

After some powder paint, beads and 60lb mono. We got a dozen Ling-con-logs!

Close up (there are 6 4oz and 6 6oz)

Forget the RF lures, is that a camo table runner?  If so, how were you able to get your wife to put up with it.  That is fantastic!

Got a question about the painting of the weights. Specifically how well does that stuff hold up bottom bouncing for rf & lings? Thanks, jim

WAAAAAY better then normal paint. The powder paint is easier to apply. Takes some time but overall faster. MattS used it for some jig heads that I got from him. I didn't have one chip after a season of use. My painted and epoxy ones all have chipped. I won't use rattle can paint again (esp for RF tackle). I toss the raw lead sinkers in the oven at 400 degrees for 30 min. Pull them out and just shake the paint over them with a strainer. Hang them on a nail and they 'dry' in about 20 min. I am sure there are other colors but I got mine at harbor freight for about $5 enough to do tons. Down side is they have white, red, yellow and black only.

Thanks for the info Eric. If I can't buy any of the white jigs locally this year I'm going to 'bake' my own. Thanks again, jim

Jig heads are simpler to do. I think with jigs you could almost get away with 'dipping' them. The hook is a built in handle and hanger. I made a dozen or so 2 and 4 oz heads a few months back. Nice thing is the powder paint adds additional weight.

I've just received my orders Eric. It did not take long at all to get here. Dude, these are some killer lures you've made for me. Thanks a bunch. I'm sure they will
increase my chance of finally catching some monster lings. :smt002 PM me of how
much I owe you bro.
