Has anyone been there? There is one other post about this shop, but it doesn't have much info.

Their website could use some improvement. It says that they carry marine electronics, but none are shown in a product search. (I'm looking to buy a fishfinder)

A friend gave me a gift card for my B-Day there & I was interested in some research before driving out there.

Anyone have any opinions?

They have a lot of stuff.
What I like is that they have all kinds of gear for all kinds of fishing; fresh, salt, pelagic.
I purchased my sabiki rod there and a bunch of tadys and salases for my mexico trip.
They had some FF's but not a ton of them.
You might be better off getting your FF from somewhere like Cabelas or Bass Pro as they have a much more liberal return policy.

I've bought quite a bit from them. Their prices are fair, but not great. The selection is great though!

I bought a Calcutta and a Fenwick rod to match there, still using them 3 years later, caught a bunch of stripers at the port on that combo.
Prices were good, it's so hard to find a bargain on new stuff. :smt005

I've bought plenty of guns from there, but never any fishing stuff...

I finally made it out there to spend my gift card. they have a great selection of fishing gear. Rods, reels, terminal tackle, etc.
I didn't make it up to the gun section to see if it was the same case up there. I had my toddler in a stroller with me.
Their price were fair & comparable, I left with a selection of Pins  minnows, some apex lures and some lead.
Good customer service and an overall good experience. I wish they were closer to Sac.
