No work today so went to Del Valle without the yak, mostly because I didnt know that I wasnt working untill I showed up at the site.
Anyways, fished off the bank and actually caught four, but the first one shook off about three feet from the waters edge. That what I get for not setting hook right. I used power bait and power egg, power earth worm combos.

The best part was about fifteen miinutes after catching the 16 incher, the other two 14s bit one after the other. I mean as soon as I put one on the stringer, line started peeling off on the other rod. Very fun, although it took most of the day to procuce three fish. Got there at twelve and caught the one that got away with in an half hour, and caught the other three between 3:30 and 4:00.

Go fishing, good luck and "fish on"
     Chris

Very Nice!!! (no image) Thanks for the report Chris! I might give it a shot on Sunday - company welcome - channel 69.

IMO: out of all the foothill lakes I've fished - Del Valle is my top choice. I only wish they didn't allow motor boats in this lake  :smt011
