great new year fishes for us at shadow cliff. on the water by 12.00 and off by 3.00.
all good fighters and beautiful fishes. they all had their fins and tail all in tack. got 7 in all for the three of us. must have been at least 20 to 25 lbs worth of fish. got them them bait fishing with inflated worm and power eggs, but most were on the crawlers. sorry no pics. but these are the best looking trouts ive ever seen.

Welcome to the Madness, and thx for the report.  I'm 15 minutes from Shadowcliff, and there are other NCKAers nearby, so post a hookup next time you go if you want company. btw, Did you buy the worms at the nearby Walmart?  If not, where?

Nice job on the fine catch!  It was nice meeting you a few weeks ago when you picked up my Hobie paddle.

Yes they are nice fish.  Shadow is getting fish from Oregon this year.  Probably, Del Valle and Quarry Lakes and Chabot are getting the same fish.  The trout are raised in a running creek (fence off) and not in cement ponds.  Great fighters and real great colors.  The meat is red.  As soon as Duck and Goose season is done.  I will be out there.
