I just read that up to 4 inches fell in the Santa cruz mtns Tuesday, and listening to my wife's version, it seemed like more.  Ben lomond seeming to get the brunt of the storm. Anyone directly affected by it?  Power outtages, slides, flooding?
Wife told me that a tree fell across Willow Ln, and blocked the road for a few hours.  She lost power and was just about to start up our generator when power was restored.  Weather was kind enough to stay nice while I visited over X-mass.

We had plenty of rain Tuesday, but no hail or anything.

My house is at 2300ft on the ocean side of Ben Lomond Mtn, right off of Empire grade, and there was no snow on the ground at 5pm last night.
No new trees down or slides on Empire either. I'm certain it snowed some during Wednesday afternoon, but I was in town & missed it all.
All of the standing water near the Empire fire station was frozen over though. Temp at my house was 33 this morning, but we're under a bunch of redwoods so it stays a little warmer than the open spaces.
