Help a fishery biologist brother out.

I am starting up a project on white sturgeon migration behavior and I need you help.  If you could save the fins from you sturgeon and save them for me, I can use them to determine the age and migration history.  I need a piece from the base (knuckle) about 2 inches toward the tip.  Also if you could record the length, weight, sex, where and when you caught it that would be awesome.

No promises I'll get one, but I just bought my license & ordered up a 2011 sturgeon card (never used my 2010 one tho)

if i get as lucky this year as last you got it jim, how should i preserve it, cryo vac and freeze i assume or do you need it fresh, i could drop off at the farmhouse if you are still out there, cameron
