I know a guy who does that exclusively. Let me see what he thinks. Maybe he would buy the entire lot from you.
Surprisingly the ones that fetch the best price are the ones you have never heard of and are usually, but not always, way way way off the mainstream charts.
He sold a 45 he bought for 50 cents at a thrift store in Elko NV. The group was called 'The Human Expression'  and the song was called 'Optical Sound.'
He got $2500 for that one on Ebay...cha ching!

Jeffrm,
I do eBay and Antique Shows for a living. Vinyl records are tough! Their are a few that maybe worth it all but it is taking the time an effort to post them individually. Yes their is the occasional home run but if they can't buy them at a decent price then why spend the time posting them.
If you want the best price for them, your going to have to do it yourself.
If their is art, gold or other items that you suspect are valuable give me a call and I can help direct you. Do not throw away old paper and photographs somethings of this nature can bring good money and are easy to ship.
Asian items are also worth the time an effort. Frank
PS: Put aside any Jazz from the 60's and earlier. Classical is a dime a dozen. Old rock maybe a consideration.

Ive got plenty of old pictures, papers, vintage advertising stuff. Even got blueprints to the railroads from the late 1800s. After going through some old boxes I found a Kodak Camera that has a date on it from 1902 with the original receipt

Sounds like some cool stuff. I would get snapping photos for ebay and start listing each item. It really is the only way to get any decent value for the stuff you have.

Very cool. Kodak changed everything. Now even point & click cams might be doomed because everyone has a camera in their phones.

Yep! I love how it says "Folding pocket Kodak" and it probably weighs about 7 pounds lol

Try Dimples or the Beat in Sacramento, there is still a large market for them, and they even have players that convert them to MP3
