Nor Cal Underwater Hunters and Wallins Dive Center of San Carlos are hosting a presentation given by Terry Maas on his new Freedivers Recovery Vest.  Terry Maas is a former national freediving champion, former world record spearfisherman, renound underwater photographer/videographer, the author of "Blue Water Hunting", and co-author of "Freedive".  He has now developed a vest that is designed to save freedivers lives.  http://www.oceanicss.com/

The presentation will be at Wallins Dive Center on Wednesday, December 15th at 6pm.  It is a free presentation designed to give a detailed description, hands on experience and technical information to anyone interested.

In addition to this presentation in December we have now confirmed a second event.  Matt Mattison, of Nor Cal Underwater Hunters, with Greg and Vanessa Fonts, of the Freedive shop, will be hosting Terry on Saturday March 26th, 2011 at the freedive shop in West Sacramento.  More details to come on this as far as time and format but the date is set so if you have someone that can't make December you can offer this alternative. I'm also working with the Monterey Bay Tritons to host an all clubs event featuring the presentation on a Saturday in July.

For more info contact Matt Mattison or josh Russo at [email protected] or [email protected] or you can call Greg and Vanessa Fonts at 916-3713410 for the sacermento presentation or email wallins dive center at http://www.wallins.com/ for the presentation

Hey guys,

attached you will find two flyers. Both are for the December presentation at Wallin's, but one flyer does not have their name on it. The reason is that I'm hoping other dive shops will let us put the flyer up if it doesn't have their competitors name on it. Pass these to whomever you think would be interested or might know someone that is. We're just a month away from the presentation, how have people been reacting? Any idea how many will be there?

Thanks again for helping get the word out, keep it up.

Hey guys, the first FRV presentation with Terry Maas is next week at Wallins in San Carlos, here's the flyer.  Let us know you're coming please so we can plan accordingly.  It is a FREE presentation and there are going to be several key figures of the freediving/spearfishing world there as well, David Laird, Dan Silveira, Colleen Gallagher, Barry Krupp, Hawkeye Parker, and  more.  If you can make it you should.

Will the presentation include info on SWB as well?  I have no interest in the FRV but wouldn't mind going for an informational lecture on SWB.

I am sure Terry will touch on SWB and go over it cause that was why he developed the vest in the first place !
