...with the right wetsuit, it ain't bad at all. Besides, the winter months (when there are no storms) are the best conditions for diving in Monterey. There are no algae blooms thus making visibility so much better. I can't wait to get in the water again.

I'm a wimp when it comes to cold water so Fuzz recommended the Picasso wetsuit - he sent me a link for a store in Spain that sold the suit for about $300.00  plus shipping. My first dive was at Stillwater South during the winter and I was in the water for 3 hours and never felt cold. I would have stayed longer but I started cramping.

yes contact greg or vanessa or sara at the sacermento freedive shop and get your self a open cell freedive suit ! you can stay in the water for hrs and still be wram. here is there phone number 916-371-3410 or just google search sac fredive shop and check out there web site ! they will get you set up right ! and tell them Matt mattison sent you.

Sounds like a plan. I have to go to Redding in January to get my two bucks scored and will stop in Sacto on my way. I'm hoping my big buck from last month will squeak into the Boone & Crockett all time record book.... if only my underwater exploits could be so good! Thanks everyone!
